HUSSAINI I. MUHAMMED, FOUNDER MUREGE ASSOCIATES is a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston Mass, U.S.A with a Bachelor of Science Finance and Banking. He is also a holder of M.Sc Accounting from the Southeastern University Washington D.C, U.S.A. He attended University of Virginia, Darden, U.S.A on Management of Critical Resources (Risk Management). He had his Ph.D. (Banking and Finance) at the University of Benin, Nigeria.

Prior to establishing Murege Associate (Financial Consulting Firm), Dr. Muhammed held several notable positions and roles in the financial sector such as:

BAYONLE OMOYELE is a visionary leader and Microfinance expert who transformed Reliance Thrift and Credit Cooperative Society, a venture he started with less than ₦200,000, into the thriving Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank (Ultraviolet MFB) within just four years. As the Managing Director and CEO, Bayonle has steered Ultraviolet MFB to become a beacon of financial empowerment, providing essential services like savings, loans, and access to vital financial resources for underserved communities.

Bayonle’s expertise extends beyond traditional banking; he is also the innovative mind behind SavingsBox, a fintech platform that simplifies automated savings, investments, credit access, and food security for users. His dedication to financial inclusion is evident in every initiative he undertakes, driving change and making financial services more accessible to all.

He holds the prestigious Microfinance Certified Banker (MCIB) certification from the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. His academic background includes a postgraduate degree from Nile University of Nigeria, and he is currently enhancing his business acumen by pursuing an MBA at Lagos Business School.

Mr. Alade Adekunle Taofeek

ADEKUNLE ALADE (BSC, MBA, FCA) has over 12 years of experience as a finance professional with proven skills in investment banking, financial advisory accounting & finance. His experience also extends to fundraising, project finance, financial modeling, due diligence, and business restructuring across different key sectors including oil & gas, financial services, infrastructure, power, and telecommunications. He has worked with the following companies before founding Pathway Advisors Limited as Chief Executive Office/Managing Director.

His professional accomplishments include Boston Advisory Limited as Senior Vice-President, Elixir Capital Partners Limited (now AVA Capital Group) as Head, Investment Banking, KPMG Deal Advisory (Assistant Manager), Dehinde Omogoroye & Co (Audit Staff), and Ernst & Young (Audit Staff).

Mr. Abdulateef Hussein

HUSSEIN ABDULATEEF ABIOLA has extensive experience spanning Investment Banking, Microfinance Banking, Insurance and Consulting. He started his career as a management consultant at Solina group before moving into investment banking at Blackbit Limited, Axe Capital & Globalview Capital Limited.

He later joined Mutual Trust Microfinance Bank in 2019 as a Manager II, Corporate finance & strategy where he championed the Bank’s first N1 Billion 3 year bond and also managed disbursement strategies that led to the growth of the Bank’s Balance sheet up to N5 billion in 2020.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Banking and Finance from Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus and also a Chartered Microfinance Banker and a SEC Sponsored Individual. He is also undergoing an MBA at the Lagos Business School. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer at BAS Capital responsible for driving business initiatives and corporate development.

Mr. Abdulrahim Muhammad Bashir

BASHIR ABDULRAHIM is a distinguished Chartered Civil Engineer with over 15 years of robust experience in executive and senior management roles, specializing in asset management, Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), and the delivery of large-scale infrastructure, and building construction projects.

He holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and Finance from the University of Portsmouth, he is a Registered Engineer with COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria) and a recognised Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Bashir is the Managing Director of Safer Project Ltd, a position he has held since 2019 and has been at the forefront of strategic business planning and operational leadership. He was a Senior Project Manager at Bouygues Construction Nigeria Ltd, where he managed high-profile projects such as the NLNG Head Office Development in Abuja and the prestigious Jabi Lake Mall, a Senior Contracts Manager with Colas Ltd, in the UK, and was responsible for managing major capital works and surface treatments projects across various local authorities in Southern England, including Hampshire County Council, Kent County Council, Surrey County Council, and Westminster City Council.  

Bashir has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional development and excellence, innovative problem-solving, and a deep understanding of the complexities involved in modern engineering and project management.

His leadership style is characterized by a proactive approach to problem-solving, focus on continuous improvement, and a deep respect for the technical and human aspects of project management. He is known for his ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams, navigate the challenges of large-scale construction projects, stringent adherence to safety and regulatory standards, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and ensures successes in financial, operational, and general project goals.

Mr. Austin Olasupo Olufemi

OLASUPO OLUFEMI AUSTIN is an Entrepreneur and a Humanitarian. He is currently the EC/CEO, Stage Partners Holdings Limited and the Lead Partner of Femaus Advisory and Consulting Limited. He has over 20 years of experience in the Banking Sector and has led as the Chief Risk Officer and Managing Director, Strategy and Implementation Manager and many other leads at committee levels. He is a Certified Risk Manager and a Certified Expert in Microfinance from the Frankfurt Business School making him an outstanding Management & Financial Consultant.

He started his banking career with Standard Trust Bank and subsequently worked with UBA, FCMB, Intercontinental, Access, Fortis, and Personal Trust before going into full-time consulting He has a degree in both Business Administration and Accounting, a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, an MSc in Finance and a PhD in view with a specialization in Marketing. His formal education includes a degree in Business Administration and Accounting, and an MSC in Finance with focus on Strategic Financial Business Analysis and Development.

He has a professional interest in Enterprise Risk Management and Analysis, Business Planning and Strategy, Service Quality Management, Project Management, Organizational Alignment, Financial Budgeting and Forecasting. An exceptionally skilled banker, with a passion for Risk Management and retail Businesses and a commendable track record of achievements in Risk Management and Business Development. He is a thoroughbred resourceful, and self-motivated personality. Dr. Wushishi Halima

HALIMA J. WUSHISHI (LLB, BL, MBCL, PGDSPA (PRINCIPAL PARTNER, LAWMATICS CONSULT LTD (LCL) is a Nigerian born & based Lawyer, Conflict Resolution Ambassador, Facilitator and Corporate Governance Consultant. Over the past decade she worked in the insurance industry as a Company secretary/legal adviser/chief compliance officer and also served as Board member.

Dr. Wushishi holds a professional Doctorate Degree in Peace and Conflict Resolution and a Masters of Business and Commercial Law combined with further Post Graduate Diploma in Social Policy and Administration. She founded Lawmatics Consult Ltd (a corporate governance and corporate law firm) in recognition of the growing emphasis and the promotion of corporate governance while helping businesses to succeed. Due to the keen interest in ensuring business success, she advises, promote and train business owners both small and large to record success. She is a member of many associations such as Nigerian Bar Association, Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria, Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management Nigeria, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Nigeria and a Certified Associate member of the Business Recovery & Insolvency Practitioners Association of Nigeria (BRIPAN).

Dr. Wushishi has experience in conflict management resolution at both transactional level and Board level, debt recovery, Property law. Other skills regarding her experience are: Clear and confident decision making, Risk management and mitigation, Debt Recovery Exercise, Shareholder and Stakeholder engagement, Strategy delivery, Governance management, Policy Drafting, Trainings and Relationship building. She attended numerous training programs, courses and seminars both local and international.

Halima enjoys travelling, reading and working, especially with startups through the phase in business formation.

Anastacia C. Nebeolisa

Chief Marketing Officer

Anastacia is the Chief Marketing Officer of Ultraviolet MFB with over eight (8) years of experience in the Banking Industry in the areas of Investment Banking, Business and Marketing Strategy, Client Relation and Retention with Sales & Strategic Planning. She has a Bs.c in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin, Benin-City and Masters in Business Administration specializing in Finance and Investment from ABU Zaria.

Nebeolisa also holds various certifications covering Accounting, Credit risk and Treasury Management. She was inducted as a Microfinance Certified Banker in August 2023 by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and currently pursuing the Associate Chartered Banker Practioner certificate (ACIB).

Her work experiences span over four financial institutions starting at Aquila Leasing Ltd where she had an in-depth experience in credit analysis and management. She went on to Abuja Leasing Company where she received Awards as one of the best performing staff in terms of funds management and loan disbursements. She joined Mutual Trust MFB in 2019 where she had an outstanding feat of a pre-resumption performance and went on to become a divisional head three years later managing a balance sheet in excess of N5Billion.

She joined Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank to bring her wealth of experience in growing the financials of the bank while leading her team to offer the best value to all stakeholders of the bank.

Ubaka Gloria

Gloria is a Legal Practitioner of 18 years post call with work experience in Corporate Practice – Banking, Insurance, Real Estate, Fintech Operations, Legal Advisory, Regulatory Registrations and Corporate Governance.

She started her legal career with Edwin Atohengbe & Co. Chambers as an Associate Counsel and thereafter, joined LIFT Microfinance Bank Limited as the Corporate Affairs Officer/Company Secretary. She became the Group Head, Governance & Compliance in LAPO Microfinance Bank Limited and has also functioned in leadership positions in other organization which includes:  Orange Insurance Brokers Limited, Safalex Nigeria Limited, and ERCAS Integrated Solutions Limited. She served as the Managing Partner in G.N Ubaka & Company before joining Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank Limited.

Gloria holds Nigerian Bar Certificate (BL) from the Nigerian Law School and her Bachelor at Law (LLB) from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, a Diploma certificate in Social Works and the MCIB from the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigerian (CIBN).

She is currently the Company Secretary/Legal of Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank Limited.

CHUKWUKA METU is a graduate of Lagos state University in Nigeria  with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science .  He is also a holder of a Diploma in Electronic and computer Engineering   from the same Institution Prior to various engagement in Information Technology, Telecommunication and Networking .

He has held several notable positions and roles in the Information Technology sector such as:Technical Officer / Specialist in Fumman Nigeria in Lagos State ,Engineer in  ASA Advance. Durowade Rasheed

Durowade Rasheed was born in Kwara state and had his primary school education in Ilorin and his secondary school in Offa all in Kwara state, before proceeding to the University of Abuja where he had his first degree in Accounting in 2006.

Prior to his first degree Abdulrasheed Durowade also obtained a diploma in banking& finance from his alma mater.He became a chartered member of the institute of Bankers in 2013 having completed the professional examination of the institute of Bankers of Nigeria.He started his banking career in the operations department of United bank for Africa Plc, Lokoja Branch and worked in all the departments including cash&teller,Funds transfer, Credit department , Internal Control unit and later became the Accountant of the branch.

Searching for greener pasture he left UBA to join the foremost Microfinance in Nigeria, Fortis MFB where he was the Head of Internal Audit and Internal Control Unit. Presently with Ultraviolet Microfinance bank as the Head of Internal Control/Audit. While in all the bank’s he attended several courses. Courses of fraud detection and prevention were key courses of the courses he attended.

Anthony Ezeabii

Anthony Ezeabii is a dynamic IT and operations executive with over a decade of experience in the microfinance banking sector, specializing in digital transformation and strategic implementation of technology-driven solutions. As the Chief Operating/Implementation Officer at Ultraviolet Microfinance Bank, Anthony brings a wealth of expertise in optimizing operational efficiency, driving business growth, and enhancing customer experiences through innovative digital channels.

With a proven track record of overseeing complex IT infrastructures and implementing digital platforms, Anthony is adept at aligning technology strategies with business objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing cross-functional teams to deliver seamless and user-friendly banking experiences.
